In Paris

handsome guys. beautiful women. and fashionable, indeed. stunning eye colors (blue mixed with green or gray, whoaaa) no plastic bags in supermarket. u have to buy one if you want free bread in restaurants. and free mineral water. motor bike rules the streets. they were big and fast. you can cross the street if there's no car , even when it's red. relax, rules are not too strict. not everybody understand english. off course, it's france . no talcum powder ! i wonder if i mispelled. shops close on sunday. weekdays? open until 6-7 PM state of the art buildings. art , art and art. drunkers and homeless. flowers in valentine's day. many of them. vertical residence. everything should be efficient here. romantic atmosphere.

what a week

after a hard week *for me* it's finally weekend . i think my resistance to job pressure is still low , haha. while i'm also having two mid exams this week. i almost fainted during the exam but i succeed through the end because i think i will not be cool if i fainted. now i'm thinking whether it will be less pressure if i become a kindergarten or playgroup teacher .hmmm...

actually i was about to place "gloomy" on my blog for today, but when i looked in the dictionary, it sounds too desperate. well, i guess im not that gloomy, but just want to be self centered for a while.

meet me, the merlion

hello... i'm Merlion. as u can see, im half lion and half fish (probably the "mer" words come from mermaid? hehehe).. here i am standing near the Fullerton Hotel (the hotel is just behind me) known as the oldest hotel in my country, Singapore. i live in a park called by my name, Merlion Park. It's also a walking distance from Esplanade . I love to shower water during the day and evening but only up to 11 PM. I have a family too. My father (or my mother?) is bigger than me, standing silently in the Sentosa Island, and my child stands behind me with a small pond all for himself :-) I weight 70 tonnes! Can u imagine? If you want to see my history details u can easily see it here. [from my trip last week. more? please click ]

a regular friday

but it's always lovely since it's one day before weekend ;-) going from bogor with AC express -- change in manggarai with the AC economic -- slipped a bit while trying to get down the train (hehe)-- arrive in sudirman -- accompanied dia breakfast :-) -- take a short walk to catch the mikrolet -- work -- and later this afternoon prepare for my class and go home again! :-) i will travel again next week, but this time it's a short one. i decided not to extend my stay and save my long weekends in Bogor for another plan ;-) have a nice weekend everybody!

pegel2...

yesterday, i joined yoga again after a short pause. the session started on 8 AM (whooaaamm) in my friend's house not far away from mine. it was nice to meet her family again especially her cute daughter. the yoga session took around 2 hours. we requested our guru not to have too many difficult moves for at the first time since our body needs to adjust again (halah...alesan :-)) she said yes. but when we came to the middle of the session, she gave us some moves that made us need to stand up and down for several times (get the picture?) anyway, it is verrrry nice to yoga again, it really refreshed me. and now, i have a "pegel-pegel" around my arm and leg.. hehehe... nb: makasih bubur menadonya enaaak banget :-)

happy lighter day

i feel a little lighter today. besides of having my work assigment complete (translating a software handbook) and my homework for Business Internasional done, I also finally attended yesterday class. yesterday i felt sooo lazy to attend the macro economic class. i was trying to find a good reason to myself why i better not go to the campuss. hehehe... actually it was raining quite heavily yesterday which could support me to directly went home. but then,,, i remembered what my lecturer told us on Monday "Nak, lebih baik menderita 3,5 tahun daripada menderita selamanya" this was actually his encouragement to us, students, for not giving up hope. 3.5 years is our limit to study for graduate degree hehehe... so then, i went to campuss fully hearted (thanks Ben, for offering me to go with you) and joined the class until the end. u know what? it was a fortunate to join it, because the lecturer is very good in giving lecture and the topic of political economy was very interesting. ...
Sagittarius Thinking big thoughts is important, but you need to get back to real life today.
