Eat Pray Love

Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia by Elizabeth Gilbert My review rating: 4 of 5 stars I want to read this book after I saw Elizabeth Gilbert's appearance in Oprah Show, probably last year. Since there were no Bahasa version of this book so far as I know and also I prefer to read in the original language, I wait for the right time to buy it :-) So when I had a chance to travel to Spore, I bought this book and blend instantly in the stories (well, except for the days in India hehehe)... Liz "easy going" writing makes me flip pages through pages in minutes. I love how she makes herself "naked" on the spot. Funny, sincere and honest. It makes me happy, as an Indonesian, to read Bali in her book and how she judged the place and the ambience the way it is. If there is any critique for this book it's probably just the too small size of the font (for me personally) ;-) Now, I'm really looking forward t...

Mandala Air

we took this airline during our departure to Denpasar , Bali. just a small note, despite the small misbehaviour of the flight attendant's service, Mandala has turned out to be a reliable airline for travellers . On the top spot of my favourites, the flight schedule is ON TIME . Even if they need to reschedule the flight it was not to DELAY it, but to shift it to an earlier time . AND, they will send the notification one day before (in my case, by SMS) so you'll have time to re-arrange your plan. Also, I just found out that other than their main website , they also provide their in-flight magazine online . By the way, Mandala is very serious in delivering great services for their customer. Proven by their prompt response and action to any reports or complaint from the customer :) Worth to try again :)

red soka

this red soka is a flower decoration in one of the gazebo in Tegalsari , Ubud, Bali. We stayed in this intimate accommodation for one night. The place is surrounded by rice fields and is good for those who wants some privacy. Besides the place we stay, we also love the atmosphere in Ubud. It is less crowded and commercial and it shows beautiful sceneries everywhere. I'll be back for sure, insya Allah :) the pictures are here
