Yesterday, I saw, in a glance, photos of these two young couple taking bath together. What an intimate shot and a breakthrough for the royal family given their strict conservative rule. When I almost believe it, I browsed the topic again and voila! It turned out they are not the real Kate Middleton and Prince William, they are, what the news called as, lookalikes. Well, since this is a fake photo, there was no photographer, the one who made this is an artist called Alison Jackson . Check out her website, she has made so many awesome photos !

Due to a public lecture I just attended in the office about migration, I browsed "The Fall of Icarus". This is a painting which was shown in the lecture's presentation, it was so beautiful I felt curious to know it more. This picture, as quoted from Wikipedia , depict humankind's indifference to suffering by highlighting the ordinary events which continue to occur, despite the unobserved death of Icarus. Despite the fact that this painting was made from the 1560s, the message still applies until now, I think. The fact that nowadays people are more into themselves without noticing any tragic cases that happened or may happen just across their house yards. Ironic. I hope we still can maintain our human touch, our sense to other beings, not only human, despite all the high technologies that continues to improve, so that we don't become ignorant people, busy with our own gadgets but instead be more cautious and sensible. Lets.

Wow, this year I think I have been quite productive in blogging, despite the fact that I like blogging unnecessary things such as pictures instead of stories. Not bad. The most productive month this year for me is on August. September the numbers are declining, thus now I tempted to push the bar higher. *taelah bahasanya* I find myself enjoy writing although when it comes to science it is more challenging. I also found myself NOT fluently enough writing in Bahasa Indonesia, Shame on me! I guess when I get my spare time soon, I would need to just let my fingers play on the laptop. Do not overthink said one pearl of wisdom. I guess that wisdom is right. I used to overthink what do I want to write, do you actually need to write and why, all these thoughts that ends up by me doing nothing at all. I was too busy with my mind that I don't even remember that time is the essence. And time goes by without waiting. Just a little note to ...

That's what I feel recently. I feel I spent most of my time in the office complaining my dissatisfaction about the tasks given to me that are not in the scope of my ToR and/or talking about other people. GOSH. I pity myself. How low I am for even think of saying something bad about other people just because they are acting different. I know I should have a better control of myself and that is what I will do. Less talking. Less talking about others. Less talking bad thing about others. How easy can that be?

32 years of tying the knots. 32 years beyond the words "Saya terima nikahnya". 32 years where the words "I love you" has its playing field. The end score doesn't really matter, it's how you keep the game going is what matters most. And to me, you both have gone through the game graciously. Happy 32rd anniversary Ayah Ibu. Gw (maksudnya ke @omjambul): "Mas, pindahin tangannya. pegangan ke yg itu aja"(sambil nunjuk pegangan tali di deket @omjambul) Eh.. tak disangka mas2 sebelah suami langsung patuh mindahin tangannya ke pegangan yg ekeu tunjuk. Disangkanya ekeu nyuruh dia. Kebetulan, pegangan yg dia pegang sebelumnya lebih deket posisinya sama @omjambul. Suami: "aura galak kamu emg luar biasa ya" Wkwkwk...

This week will be a very busy week for me. There is, what we in the office called, Annual Meeting where all scientists from headquarters and branch offices gather in Bogor to have a one week knowledge sharing meeting. The schedule is very dense. Proven by just today on Monday where the meeting started at 8:30 AM and ended at 5:30 PM. I don't like sitting all the time and do nothing so I decided this year to be picky. I only chose subject of meetings that really interest me. Too bad I might not be able to fully participate this year. Tomorrow I need to be in Jakarta at 8 AM. Painful, I know. That's make me blessed for having an office that is only 10 minutes away by car. The more I become a mum the more I want to have flexibility in time. I want to be able to pick and drop my son from school and buy him ice cream on the way back home. I don't mind being tired as long as I am allowed to be flexible. So anyway wish me luck for tomorrow. I need to be ready by 5 AM. Yikes! Goo...
