Warung Mamak

Some of my friends in the office recently celebrated their birthdays. As normal, I tend to buy the presents late. As I have been a big stalker of online shops in Instagram, I decided to buy several products from one shop called Warung Mamak. The way Mamak, the "shop" owner preferred to be called always have a funny way in selling the stuff. It makes me enjoy going through her Instagram even if it's just a window shopping. I bought notebooks, memory photo box and a mug. Hope my friends will like them :)
Razki's handwriting. Now he can write his own name. I was proud before, and now even prouder :)

How are you today?

Things at work have been going pretty much hectic lately. Added with my laziness to open the blog although ideas to write often pop up in my head. I maybe should keep a notebook near me so I can write once the idea comes. But most of the times I let the ideas fade away in thin air and prefer to blend with my children, playing whatever they want to play or even have a moment of wrestling time :) at the moment although hectic but I love what I am doing at work, which is mostly learning how to do literature review and data analysis. This is basically what I want, researching stuff. Maybe that is my call, lately that is what I feel. And further I want to practice my writing skill. Lets see how it goes. Time to log off. Have a good rest everyone!

meleleh....

I love these two love birds! Yes, and I stalked them in Instagram :)

First world problems on Twitter

Exactly what I had in mind about social media these past few weeks! :)) Check it here
I looked at my blog stats just now. This year I have 89 posts (including this recent one). It is the highest number of posts since the last one in 2009. Wow!! I am flattered by my own self! Hahaha.... good night! :)

Picnic in the office

Today we were (not) celebrating the departure of our dear friend by having a lunch under the trees inside our campus. It was a fun lunch and the foods are great.

Officially...

I am officially signing out from Twitter since two days ago. And, unsurprisingly, I don't feel any significant loss :) I actually feel lighter. I don't need to answer mentions or scroll down the timeline. If I want to search for news I would access the website directly and catch it up from there. Well, one thing that I might loss is the inability to participate in online quizzes! hahaha :) I might do another Twitter account but not in the near future, and if I do, I would strict it only for following news or quizzes :) See you later Twitter, I am off from tweeting, at least virtually ;)

Thank you Urban Mama!

Yesterday afternoon, after completing my Dzuhur prayer, I received a notification from my email account, and surprisingly, it was from The Urban Mama! My second article was posted there! Happy happy happy :) I wrote this article very randomly on Sunday afternoon when the kids (+ father) were taking their nap. Tired of watching TV (I don't like watching TV except for reality show like The Kardashian, hahaha) and too lazy to read the newspaper (except for the "Vacancy" section hahaha!) I turned on my laptop and write, and..voila I spontaneously posted it to The Urban Mama. I never thought that they will respond so fast, but they did! Thank you TUM , although, I have to admit, I am a bit embarrassed as it was submitted without me reading it back, let alone edit or review it. But hey, this is not a journal article. Again, thank you!!

Modern vs traditional?

This morning while I was feeding Bagas, our youngest son, my husband posed me a question that stroke me, “Why do you often Tweet and Facebooking? And recently, Path?” He continued “Do you know that you and all other people are sort of being “abused” or “terjajah”by social media tycoons? Your and other people’s life are ruled by them, somehow. You need to post every morning only mentioning that you are awake. And then post again every evening to say that you are sleeping. Don’t you find it funny sometimes?” He smiled and ending his statement by saying “Do you know how much fortune they have made just by having you lot register as their followers? And you dear, what have you made out of it?” It stroke me because I don’t really have a good answer to argue him back and somehow, deep inside my heart, I also kind of agree on his thought. I am not a big fan of social media although, I have to admit, I have signed up in so many social media account. You name it. Twitter, Facebook, Path, Instagr...

Random thoughts

Hi Blog, I miss you! I haven't done anything but work lately. Of course, taking care of my family is out of question. But whenever I have spare time I would rather use it to watch cable TV hahaha. U know, reality shows like The Kardashians, DC Cupcakes, Master Chef Korea and TV series such as Desperate Housewives and Sex and The City. If I am not watching TV, you can easily find me falling asleep in between my sons hahaha :) Speaking of my boys, the more I am with them the more I fall in love with those two. The older one is enjoying his school very much. I drop and pick him up whenever he goes to school and I totally enjoy it. The younger one likes to draw very much. We called him the Picasso from Ciomas :)) I hope I the opportunity to grow old with them watching them grow up and healthy :) Happy weekend guys!
