Cerita Sita

Hari ketiga di UC Berkeley. Today the plan is to participate in a Thematic Working Group and a tour around the campus. I love Berkeley so far. It is located in the hill though so you often need to walk down and up the hill. I consider that as an exercise for my body as I rarely do sport. The food so far is nice, fortunately the campus provides a whole range of varieties starting from burger, pizza, salad, seafoods, Indian foods, and even white rice. So I am safe. Last night I managed to Skype my family. I was glad to see my children's faces although Bagas seems not to care so much but maybe it is because of his age. As Razki, he kept telling me that he wanted to be with me. I guess now he understands I am not there. It is heartbreaking for sure, but it is a good learning process for both me and my children. Anyway, I need to go. Catch up with you later. Have a nice day all :)

Terkadang ingin. Menelusuri pinggir Jalan Merdeka bersamanya. Berjalan kaki, bersandal jepit ria. Tidak ada rambu yg mewajibkan kami harus kemana. Kamilah yg mengatur kemana arah langkah mau dibawa. Jika dahaga, duduk sejenak. Saya memesan teh botol, dia minuman berion. Yg pasti harus dingin. Kemudian kami berjalan lagi. Entah mencari soto kuning atau siomay. Di sepanjang jalan Bogor. I guess I am currently thrown back into my 90s. My 90s where I was still a teenager who easily fell in love with boybands such as Boyzone, Backstreet Boys and Westlife :) I also had a crush with The Moffats and Hanson (hahaha!) they all left me happy memories and the only way to cherish it now is by watching their video clips, like this one:

Habis makan siang tiba-tiba ingat sama F4 band yang populer di jaman gw kuliah dulu gara-gara drama sinetron mereka Meteor Garden (aawww....) Masih inget dulu Indosiar jaya banget gara2 drama sinetron ini. Suka berandai-andai pas lihat tahun lahirnya personil band ini: 1977, 1979.. wah ideal tuh.. cocok banget sama gw.. hahaha! Namanya jg masih muda... eh sekarang juga masih nge-fans deng.. suka sama semua kecuali Vic Zhou wkwkwk.... Jerry Yan and Ken Chu I love you the most deh pokoknya :) Note: Baru sadar juga sekarang nama mereka diubah jadi JVKV.

I am counting days for my travel. I feel sad already knowing that I will be leaving my boys for a good amount of time. But I also feel that this is a good opportunity for them to be more independent from their mother, especially Bagas, since not only that he is the youngest but also in his 20 months of age he is still breastfeeding. Lets see how it goes. Hope everything will be alright and everybody is healthy while I am away. Wish me luck!

Ga sengaja dengar suaranya waktu mampir ke Disc Tarra Sabtu kemarin. And I instantly fell in love with his voice. Langsung beli deh CDnya. Pas search videonya di YouTube tambah jatuh cinta lagi. You won't regret buying his CD :)
